She opened her career with the lone goal in Cochise's 1-1 draw against Western Wyoming on Aug. 21, then followed with back-to-back goals the very next day in a 7-0 win over Northeastern Junior College.
Her hot start continued against Otero College on Aug. 24, where she notched her fourth goal of the season and added an assist in a 4-0 victory. Herrero capped the Colorado road trip with another early strike in Cochise's 10-0 rout of Trinidad State on Aug. 25.
