Silas named ACCAC Women's Basketball Player of the Week

DOUGLAS, Ariz. --- Cochise Women's Basketball sophomore Micayla Silas was named ACCAC Player of the Week for Week 1 of the season.

Silas averaged 19.5 points in the Apache's first two wins of the season over South Plains and Midland College.

The Apaches host the 1st Annual Cochise Women's Basketball Classic in Sierra Vista on Friday, November 14th, and Saturday, November 15th. The Cochise Classic will be held at Buena High School's Gymnasium with Cochise, Salt Lake, Phoenix, and Central Arizona College each participating.
