Cochise Dominates Arizona Western for Fourth Straight Win, 110–84
DOUGLAS, Ariz. — Cochise College delivered one of its most complete performances of the season Wednesday night, overpowering Arizona Western College 110–84 in ACCAC action inside Stronghold Gymnasium. The Apaches improved to 17-10 overall and 7-5 in conference play, extending their winning streak to four games.
Cochise seized control early and never looked back, building a double-digit lead in the first half before exploding offensively after the break. The Apaches shot an impressive 51.8% from the field and 50% from three-point range, showcasing balanced scoring and efficient ball movement throughout the contest.
The Apaches led 55-43 at halftime and matched that output in the second half, steadily pulling away and pushing the lead to 26 points.
Murray Leads Offensive Surge
Freshman standout Teron Murray paced Cochise with a dominant all-around performance, finishing with 28 points and 10 rebounds to lead all scorers.
Backcourt playmaker Jhace Johnson orchestrated the offense with 24 points and 9 assists, while contributing on both ends of the floor.
Davon Jones added 18 points, knocking down four three-pointers, and Emmanuel Jo Samuel contributed 14 points with four triples of his own.
Forward Naeem Colston chipped in 11 points and strong work on the glass, helping Cochise control rebounding and second-chance opportunities.
Balanced Team Effort
Cochise dominated key team categories, outrebounding Arizona Western and recording 27 assists, highlighting the Apaches' unselfish offensive flow.
Arizona Western was led by Illiam Fevry's 24 points, but the Matadors struggled to keep pace with Cochise's offensive firepower and perimeter shooting.

With the win, Cochise continues its late-season surge and will look to keep momentum rolling on Saturday, February 21, when the Apaches host Eastern Arizona College at 4:00 p.m. in Douglas, Arizona for Sophomore Day.
