Watson’s late game heroics lift Cochise over Chandler-Gilbert CC 69-66

DOUGLAS, Ariz. —Sophomore guard Tyreese Watson nailed 2 long range 3 point field goals in a very clutch fashion to lead the Apaches to a thrilling 69-66 ACCAC win in the Stronghold gymnasium Saturday afternoon.  Freshman, Riley Parker added 2 very clutch free throws with 10 seconds left to seal the victory.

Cochise jumped out to a 38-33 halftime lead, but the Coyotes came charging back to tie the game at take the lead with 2 minutes left in the contest. Watson's 3-point field goal with 29 seconds left gave Cochise a 67-64 advantage, and Parker's free throws did seal the win.  

Cochise was led by Watson's 23 points while Sophomore, Oscar Cluff added 16 points in his first game back from a foot injury.

The Apaches are now 15-2 overall and 9-0 in ACCAC play
