The Cochise College men's basketball team used the timely free-throw shooting to hold off a frantic Chandler Gilbert Coyote second-half rally to hold on for an 82-78 ACCAC road win. Cochise finished their ACCAC road games with a perfect 10-0 record.
Cochise was led by guards Jay Rodgers and Tyreese Watson with 22 and 20 points, respectively. Forward Stephen "Tank" Byard added 12 and 9 rebounds in the win.
Cochise moves to 25-3 overall and 16-2 in ACCAC play.
