Todd Inglehart is in his 27th season as head baseball coach at Cochise College. Since 2004, the Apaches have averaged 39 wins per year and reached the postseason 17 times, and seven straight since 2012. He became the All-Time wins leader in Cochise history in 2006 and achieved his 900th win on March 4th, 2025.

Last year, the Apaches won 43 games and reached the postseason, ranking as high as 10th in the country. In 2022, the Apaches reached the postseason, competing in the ACCAC Region 1 championship. The 2022 team was ranked as high as 15th in the country.

In 2019, the Apaches won the ACCAC Championship for the third time within the previous five years and the fourth during his tenure. The 2019 Apaches were ranked as high as second in the country and were ranked in the top 10 for eight consecutive weeks. During the 2017 campaign, the Apaches ranked sixth in the country, which marked the fifth straight year Cochise has been ranked in the top 15. In four of those five, the Apaches placed in the top 10. Over the last 13 years, Cochise ranked in the top 15 for 10 of those years. In 2016 Cochise appeared in the Region 1 Championship series. It was the fourth consecutive appearance in the Region Championship. The 2015 season saw the Apaches win the ACCAC championship. In 2014, the Apaches became the first school to win back-to-back Western District titles. The 2013 season was the most successful in school history, finishing 52-19, placing 3rd at the NJCAA College World Series, and ranking #2 in the nation by Perfect Game and #4 by NJCAA.

In 2013, the Apaches were Region 1 Champions and Western District Champions. In the 2010 season, the Apaches advanced to the postseason for the sixth time in seven years — the only program to do so. In 2007, Inglehart led the Apaches to the ACCAC Championship and their third Regional Championship appearance in four years. The Apaches finished the season 43-18, ranked seventh in the country, reaching as high as 2nd. In 2005, Cochise won a school-record 45 games, reached the Region 1 Championship, and finished #16 in the nation. In 2004, the Apaches won 39 games and won their first Regional Championship in 12 years.

During Inglehart’s tenure at Cochise, the Apaches had nine NJCAA All-Americans. Over 300 student-athletes have moved on to 4-year schools, with over 150 reaching the Division 1 level.
Inglehart received the ACCAC Coach of the Year honors in 2004, 2007, 2013, 2017, and 2019. Western District Coach of the Year in 2013 and 2014, and the ABCA Regional Coach of the Year in 2013 and 2014.
Coach Inglehart was inducted into the Arizona Community College Hall of Fame in 2019.

Inglehart came to Cochise College from Yavapai College in Prescott, AZ, where he spent three years as an assistant. In those three years, Yavapai went 116-52, won two conference championships, produced three All-Americans, and finished each of the last two regular seasons ranked in the top 10 nationally.

Before his tenure at Yavapai, Inglehart was the assistant baseball coach at the University of Wyoming from 1992 to 1996. He was the recruiting coordinator, hitting, and infield coach at Wyoming. During his tenure, the Cowboys were one of the more prolific hitting teams in the country, finishing in the top 10 in batting average in 1992 and 1994. They led the nation in hitting (.363) during 1996.

Inglehart is a native of Mission Viejo, CA, where he attended El Toro High School. From there, he moved on to Saddleback College, where he played in the Orange Empire Conference. After receiving his associate of arts degree, Inglehart transferred to the University of Wyoming, where he competed in the Western Athletic Conference. Upon graduating from UW in 1990, he earned his master’s in exercise science in 1992.
