Apaches Set for NJCAA Region 1 Tournament Run in Henderson
The postseason begins tomorrow for the No. 20 Cochise College Apaches, as the Apaches travel to Henderson, Nevada for the 2026 NJCAA Region 1 Baseball Championship, hosted by the College of Southern Nevada from May 7–10.
Cochise enters the tournament as the No. 2 seed after a historic regular season that saw the Apaches finish 43–13 overall (20–10 ACCAC), tying the program record for regular season victories originally set in 2005.
The Apaches will open tournament play against No. 3 Arizona Western College on Thursday, May 7 at 10:00 a.m. MST.

The four-team Region 1 field features:
- Southern Nevada
- Cochise College
- Arizona Western College
- Central Arizona College
The tournament will follow a double-elimination format, with the winner advancing further in postseason play.
