DOUGLAS, Ariz. — The No. 12 Cochise College Apaches battled in a high-scoring series finale but fell 9–5 to No. 13 College of Southern Nevada on Saturday at Bo Hall Field. With the loss, Cochise moves to 37–10 overall (14–7 ACCAC) and now sits two games behind Southern Nevada in the conference standings.
Big Seventh Inning Swings Game
Cochise stayed within striking distance through the middle innings, but Southern Nevada used a decisive six-run seventh inning to pull away and secure the series finale.
The Apaches showed resilience early, responding to deficits with runs in the third, fourth, and sixth innings to take a brief lead at 5–3 before the Coyotes' late surge.
