Game Day: Cochise Baseball Opens 2026 Season at Bo Hall Field
DOUGLAS, Ariz. — It's Opening Day in Douglas as Cochise College Baseball begins the 2026 regular season today with a home doubleheader against Ottawa University (JV) at 12:00 p.m. at Bo Hall Field.
The Apaches enter the season ranked No. 13 nationally in the NJCAA Division I preseason poll and looking to build on a strong offseason under head coach Todd Inglehart. With a focus on competing daily and honoring the tradition of Cochise Baseball, this year's squad features increased depth on the mound and a balanced, competitive lineup.
"We want to earn everything we accomplish," Inglehart said. "That starts with how we work and how we play each day."
Saturday's opener provides an early opportunity for the Apaches to showcase their pitching depth and disciplined approach at the plate as they begin their push through a challenging ACCAC schedule.
Fans are encouraged to come out and support Cochise Baseball as the Apaches open the season on their home field.
