Cochise Baseball Set for 2025 Fall Exhibition Season
DOUGLAS, Ariz. — The Cochise College Baseball team will hit the diamond this fall with a busy slate of exhibition games designed to prepare the Apaches for the 2026 spring campaign. With over 20 new faces on the roster, head coach Todd Inglehart will use the fall season as a crucial evaluation period to determine his final spring roster.
September Opener at Home
The Apaches begin their fall exhibition schedule on Saturday, September 20, hosting BNL (Baseball's Next Level) at 11:00 a.m. in Douglas. It will be the first opportunity for Inglehart and his staff to see the new-look squad in live competition.
October Brings Big Tests
October offers plenty of chances for growth and evaluation:

October 1 — Cochise hosts the MLB World Select Team at 1:30 p.m. in Douglas, a unique challenge against elite international prospects.

October 3 — The Apaches travel to Tucson for a doubleheader at Pima Community College's West Campus.

October 9–10 — Cochise competes in the Five Tool Showcase at Reid Park in Tucson, giving players a platform to display their skills.

October 17 — The team heads to Thatcher to face Eastern Arizona College.

October 24 — The Apaches host Eastern Arizona for a home matchup in Douglas at 11:00 a.m.
November Finale
The exhibition season concludes with a marquee home doubleheader against Pima Community College on Friday, November 7, at 11:00 a.m. in Douglas.
Building Toward Spring 2026
While the fall slate is officially exhibition-only, it carries major significance for the program. With so many fresh faces, Coach Inglehart is focused on finding the right combinations and establishing team identity.
By November, the Apaches aim to have a clear sense of their strengths, depth, and potential leaders heading into the 2026 Spring season, when results begin to count toward standings and postseason aspirations.
