Women’s basketball cruises to victory over South Mountain

This marks the teams 16th win in a row.  The Apaches also moved up three spots in the national poll and are now ranked 18th in the country.  The Apaches have clinched the conference championship and will host the Region 1 championship game on Friday, March 8 at 7 p.m.

“Good road win for the team,” coach Laura Hughes said.  “We had good offensive production from everyone that played major minutes.  South Mountain is a much-improved team and is playing well.  We did a great job of staying focus and making scoring runs when we needed them.”
