In the second game the Apaches beat Harcum College 71-42. The Apaches jumped to a big lead and never looked back. A balanced scoring attack helped the Apaches cruise to victory with 12 players recording points in the game.
The Apaches are now 11-2 on the season and 4-1 in conference.
Head Coach Laura Hughes said, “After a two-week break for the holidays it was good to get back as a team and test ourselves in these two games. We continue to play ourselves back into game shape and look forward to starting conference games again next week. Our Sophomores are stepping up and realizing the importance of every game this time of year.”
Cochise will return home to the Douglas campus to host conference opponent Chandler-Gilbert on Wednesday, January 3. Tip-off is scheduled for 5:30 p.m.
