The Cochise College Women’s Soccer team picked up their third win of the season this past Tuesday on a trip to Glendale Community College. The win puts the Apaches at 3-8-1 on the season.
The Lady Apaches started the scoring early with Magali Brizuela (FR. Asuncion, Paraguay) netting the first goal in the 7th minute. Crystal Munoz (FR. Douglas, AZ) would waste little time adding to the lead with a goal in the 10th minute off an assist from Tori Rayan (FR. Sahuarita, AZ). Glendale would pull a goal back in the 39th minute to cut the lead to 2-1. The Apaches would quickly restore their two goal advantage with Janet Squire scoring to bring the halftime score to 3-1 in favor of the Apaches.

The second have saw Cochise add to the score line with Squire adding a goal in the 55th minute for her second of the game and Munoz adding her second of the match in the 73rd minute. Cochise would allow Glendale to score two late consolation goals in the 74th and 90th minute to bring the final score to 5-3 in favor of Cochise.

The Apaches will be at home this Saturday September 30th as they host Paradise Valley Community College. Kickoff is set for 2pm.
