Sophomore 1st Baseman, Jamori Blash, was selected on the third day of the Major League Baseball Draft on Wednesday, June 14, 2017. Blash was selected by the Washington Nationals in Round 23, and was the 703rd overall pick.
Blash started 59 games for the Apaches. He batted .316 with 46 runs scored, 17 doubles, three triples, eight home runs, 49 RBI and 9 stolen bases. He was named to the Second Team All-ACCAC and First Team All-Region Teams.
