Apaches move up to #8 in nation

After beating the Gateway Geckos twice and Eastern Gila Monsters twice, the Apaches moved up in the rankings. Quality pitching from the four starters made for a fun week of baseball. The Apaches did all that they could offensively at Gateway as they ended up playing on what you would call a “GINORMOUS FIELD.” At Eastern, the Apaches came to life as they scored 11 runs in the first game and 17 runs in the second game. Hopefully, the team can keep up the consistent pitching and defense.

Follow the Apaches as the team continues their run to be one of the top teams in the nation and as the team tries to close out the last six games to become conference champions. They split with Arizona Western yesterday, losing the first game and winning the second game. The Apaches are now 39-11 overall and 22-8 in the ACCAC. That is good enough to be able to earn the top seed, as of now.
